- To turn the battery on, depress the button for around 3 seconds. The battery will turn on as shown below.
- To turn the battery off, depress the button for around 3 seconds. The battery will turn off as shown below.
LED Functionality
- LED Off: Battery is OFF.
- LED flashing (on/off): Battery is STARTING UP.
- LED On: Battery is ON.
- LED Slow flashing status, duration approx. 15 secs: Battery is shutting down (Cell calibration function)
- Continuous LED Fast flashing status: Battery fully drained, needs recharging!
Continuous LED Slow flashing status: Battery has a FAULT.
- To place the battery into the trolley, lower the front of the battery into the trolley recess (with the battery button towards the rear of the trolley), then slide forward the battery ensuring the battery indent slides under the front battery location beam. Then, carefully lower the rear of the battery from a height of around 2 inches to engage the electrical connection, and gently push the battery down to ensure the retaining clip is engaged.
- To take the battery out of the trolley, push the battery retaining clip in and towards the power button and in the same movement, lift the battery out.
Battery Charging
To recharge the battery, plug the charger into a socket (turn the socket on) & the charger LED will illuminate green. Insert the charger Torberry connector (Anderson Connector) into the battery Torberry connector (refer to images below) and look for the battery LED light to come ON (Green) to confirm the battery is being charged.
Note: There’s no need to turn on the battery before charging. Once the charger is switched on & plugged via the Torberry connector, the battery will automatically start the charging process.
Note: Charger LED will be RED during the charging process (Refer to Fig. 1 below)
Charger LED will switch to GREEN once the battery is fully charged (Refer to Fig. 2 below)
Battery will automatically switch off (approx. 15 secs) once the charger is unplugged.
