VERTX/V10 Handset Quick Start Guide
Charging
- Plug in the charging cable.
- Flashing green LED means the handset is charging.
- Solid green LED means the battery is fully charged.
Note:
- Reconnecting the cable after a full charge will NOT turn the LED back on.
- The Green LED will only flash again when charging after the handset has been used.
Using the Handset
- Flashing blue LED when the handset is turned on and not paired to a trolley.
- Solid blue LED when paired to a trolley.
Low Battery Warnings
- Flashing red and blue LED means battery is low. Charge after use.
- Solid Red means the battery is critically low. Charge immediately after use.
Fast flashing red LED means battery is critically low. Handset is disabled, will not turn on, place handset on charge!
Note: If the LED is Solid Red and you turn the handset off, you won't be able to turn it on until recharged.
Pairing Instructions
- To pair the handset with the trolley, follow the instructions below:
- 1. Turn ON the trolley (and the battery if the battery has its own on/off button)
- 2. Remove the battery and wait until L.E.D goes off (leave switched battery on)
- 3. Using the handset press and hold the FORWARD button and then press the ON button once – while still holding the forward button for a couple of seconds the handset will flash red/yellow colour once flashing release FORWARD button, the handset is now in pairing mode
- 4. Re-insert the battery with trolley (and battery) switch turned ON (BT pairing active for 15secs)
- 5. The handset will now pair to the trolley, Once the handset stops flashing, the L.E.D will be a solid blue colour and pairing is complete.
6. The trolley and handset Bluetooth connection is now paired and the trolley can be used as normal.
