We only use a premium courier service with FedEx for all of our deliveries to ensure they are fully trackable and that customers receive notifications of reliable delivery times.
Although we subsidise carriage charges we do need to charge some contribution and this does mean that smaller items do appear to have a disproportionate charge.
The charge also covers the administration, packing and packing materials involved in sending items.
